"Do you suffer from lower back pain? If not, chances are you will," stated Lisa Feronda's news broadcaster in a story about Lordex® Spine Institute.

In fact, some studies show that 85 percent of Americans experience low back pain at some point in their lives.

NEW HOPE FOR LOW BACK PAIN SUFFERERS!

LORDEX®

Computerized spinal decompression, known as LDT or Lumbar Decompression Therapy, relieves back pain by diminishing the pressure on the spinal joint, nerves and discs. Many people who have utilized chiropractic adjustments, massage therapy, physical therapy, acupuncture as well as exercising are able to manage low back pain. While these tools are successful for many patients they sometimes can’t provide permanent relief. Before turning to drugs and surgery and giving up hope many have found resolution for their pain with non-surgical “spinal decompression”.

The Lordex® procedure is a medical breakthrough that can help eliminate back pain without surgery or drugs. This treatment is for anyone that is struggling with: back pain, disc hernatiation, disc degeneration, sciatica and facet syndrome, stenosis and leg pain and has not responded well to any other form of treatment.

Lordex® relieves patients of their back pain by re-establishing functional capacity and decompressing the sensitive nerve fibers and discs without surgery.

A healthy disc is hydrated and flexible like a moist sponge. After injury and/or aging the disc may become thin and brittle like a dried out sponge.

Decompression creates a negative pressure which draws water from surrounding tissues back into the disc creating strength and flexibility.

What is Lordex®?

Lordex® is a revolutionary new non-invasive medical treatment. The Lordex® Program involves two primary therapies, the Lordex® Decompression Unit and the RX1 Strength Restoration machine.

At Lordex Spine Center we complement the Decompression Unit and the RX1 with the ATM (Active Therapeutic Movement) machine. We like to call this machine a Spine Stabilizer. Its purpose is to provide immediate and long-lasting benefits to many back, neck, shoulder, pelvis, hip, and knee sufferers. By doing specific muscular movements this machine aims to immediately alter symptoms, by affecting the central nervous system control to imbalanced muscles.

How it works

Lordex® relieves patients of their back pain by re-establishing functional capacity and decompressing the sensitive nerve fibers and discs non-operatively. That is, without surgery.

Spinal decompression is a non-invasive procedure that gently distracts the vertebrae of the low back to reduce pressure on sensitive nerve fibers and discs causing pain while simultaneously restoring strength and stability to the muscles that support the back. As decompression takes place fluids are drawn back into the surrounding area of the damaged tissue allowing nutrients, blood and healing substances to help reconstitute the disc.
