Questions and Answers
Is it safe?
Spinal Decompression is very safe. It is cleared by the FDA.
How will I feel after treatment?
Each person has different results. As a general rule, most patients experience significant changes in symptoms within the first three to eight Lordex® procedures. Also, some patients appear to have rapid relief after the first treatment. Relief response varies according to age, body shape and degree of severity.
How is Lordex® different than surgery?
Lordex® is a non-invasive, non-surgical treatment that can correct some back, hip and mid-back issues. Surgery of the spine is serious, yet sometimes unavoidable. Fortunately, less than 1% of all low back pain sufferers are surgical candidates. But just because you don’t need surgery doesn’t mean you don’t need treatment. Lordex® is the logical choice.
Lordex® provides successful long-term relief from back pain that is non-surgical. Surgery is open reduction decompression. Lordex® is closed reduction decompression. Surgery is open fusion for stabilization. Lordex® is closed stabilization through increased paraspinal muscle strengthening.
How expensive is spinal decompression?
Many treatment plans at other centers can range from $100 per treatment and up. Surgery can cost thousands and is not always an effective treatment. We have patients seek treatment with us after having surgery that did not relieve their pain.
Each session for decompression ranges from $30 to $60 depending on the length of your session. We offer free DVD’s that explain our procedure and you may call for a complimentary consultation to evaluate your situation and determine if you are a candidate for spinal decompression.
